About Tax Relief Answers
What this site is
Tax Relief Answers is a free information site for people who owe federal tax and want to know what the IRS actually offers. It is published by PRIMEzen LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Every page links to the IRS page, statute or agency its figures come from, and shows the date it was last checked.
What this site is not
- It is not the IRS, and it is not affiliated with the IRS, the Treasury Department or any government agency.
- It is not a tax preparer, enrolled agent, CPA or law firm. Nobody here will prepare your return, represent you before the IRS, or negotiate for you.
- It is not advice. The pages describe how programs work in general; your notice, your account transcript and a licensed professional decide what applies to you.
How the information is checked
Each fact is read on IRS.gov, in the Internal Revenue Code, or on the relevant agency's site before it is published, and the source is linked beside it. Figures that change, such as fees, thresholds and interest rates, carry the date they were checked. Where the IRS does not publish a number, the page says so instead of estimating. The editorial policy explains corrections.
How the site is funded
The site may link to tax relief companies that pay us when a reader contacts them. Those links are labeled, they appear only after the free options on the same page, and each company's payment terms are published before its link appears. Details are on How we make money.
