Privacy Policy

What we collect

Almost nothing. This site has no forms, no accounts, no cookies set by us, and no analytics scripts. We do not ask for your name, your Social Security number, your tax information or anything else, and we never will on this site. If a page ever asks you for personal information while showing our name, it is not ours.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes requests, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and block attacks under its own privacy policy. We see only aggregate counts of requests, not who made them.

Links to other companies

Some links lead to tax relief companies that pay us when you contact them (see How we make money). When you follow one of those links, the company may set its own cookies and may record that you came from this site. Anything you enter on a company's site goes to that company under its privacy policy, not to us. Read it before you submit tax information to anyone.

Email

If you write to us, we keep your message to answer it and to keep a record of corrections. We do not add you to any list and we do not share your address.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies you might meet are security cookies from our host; see the Cookie policy.

AI tools and search engines

The pages are public and may be read by search engines and AI assistants so they can point people to the right IRS information. That covers only what is published on the pages. We hold no information about readers to share with them.

Your privacy rights

We do not sell or share personal information, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not build profiles of readers. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, including Texas and California, may ask what personal information we hold about them, and ask us to correct or delete it, through Contact. In practice the only personal information we could hold is an email you sent us. We do not discriminate against anyone who makes a request.

Children

This site is meant for adults dealing with tax debt. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

This policy is dated with the rest of the site. If it changes materially, the change is noted here.
